Comparative Animal Physiology with Lab


A comparative study of physiological processes in animals. Topics will include gas exchange, circulation, water and ion balance, and excitable cells. As a comparative study, we will examine a variety of animals that are adapted to function in diverse environments. A weekly laboratoy illustrates physiological principles.
