ENV*394*11 Description

SpTp: Watershed Biogeochem

Biogeochemistry is the scientific study of biological, chemical, and geological processes that interact to influence our natural environment. Within this class, we will examine the carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus cycles, as well as other elemental cycles. We will examine these cycles generally as well as more specifically in agriculturally dominated watersheds such as the Chester. The laboratory component of this class will allow students access to biogeochemical field sampling and laboratory analysis techniques. Student must have taken/be taking CHE*112 or BIO*112
