Biopsychology


A study of the biological bases of human and non-human behavior. The emphasis is on the hierarchical organization of the nervous system and behavior. Specific topics include: structure and function of the nervous and endocrine systems; lateralization of function and language disorders; feeding; thermoregulation; and the biological bases of emotion and psychopathology. Laboratory. Prerequisite(s): Take either BIO 111 and BIO 112, or PSY 111 and PSY 112
