BUS 394-12 SpTp:Asset Allocation
Asset Allocation and Diversification are central components of investment
strategy. This course examines those critical issues from a variety of
perspectives. We'll consider what types of asset holdings and what
proportions of those holdings are appropriate for different investment
portfolios. We'll examine the variety of asset classes available and
discuss how economic factors such as recession, inflation, and economic
growth might affect these decisions. We'll also consider how risk
tolerance, time horizon, individual goals, and demographic factors such as
age might influence these choices.
Pre-requisite: Completion of Financial Analysis (BUS 301) with a grade
of C or better; or permission of the instructor.
